==== Boone County ====
  * The [[towns|city]] limits of [[Hamilton]] are expanded.  Residents are not required to work on the [[roads|road]] more than half a mile from the new limit.
  * A [[slavery|slave]] named Gabrial kills Edwin, another slave. The local [[newspapers|paper]] cautions people against making up their minds immediately, as that would make it impossible to form a jury for the murder trial. 
  * Land is purchased from [[Lewis Conner]] for $125.  The land will become the location for a new [[schools|school]] in [[Florence]].
  * An act of the General Assembly provided that the trustees of [[Burlington]] shall serve for the term of one year or until succession are elected.
