====== Boone County Recorder ======
The main [[newspapers|newspaper]] for the [[Boone County]] area for over a century, the //Recorder// was founded in [[1875]] by W. L. [[riddell_family|Riddell]]. It is the oldest continuously operating newspaper in the county. The newspaper's office in Burlington was built in 1939.
