====== Citizens Deposit Bank (BE 1166) ======
 {{ http://bcplfusion.bcpl.org/Repository/Citizens_Deposit_Bank_BE_1166.JPG?290|The Citizens Deposit Bank of Belleview}}Located on [[McVille]] Road in [[Belleview]], the Citizens Deposit Bank was the second financial institution established in western [[Boone County]].  Built in 1926, it is typical of small banks and commercial buildings of the 1920s.

The building is a tapestry brick edifice with broken pediment and stepped parapet.  The roof was raised to a gable at an unknown date.  At the time it was built, the bank building was described by the //[[Boone County Recorder]]// as a "brick structure, with ample size windows making the interior as light as out of doors.  The fixtures are of quartered oak and most substantial looking."
