====== Clifford Coyle ====== Clifford Coyle, who was often known as "Peaches," was born in 1905. He married long-time friend [[malle coyle|Malle Beckett]] around 1949. Before the office of mayor was created, Coyle was the chairman of the [[Florence]] City Board of Trustees, a position equivalent to the city mayor. He held this post from 1940 to 1952. Coyle was also the co-owner of the Dixie View Nursery in Mason. At the time of his death, he was working as a custodian at Ockerman Junior High School. Coyle was a member of the Boone Union Masons and the Covington Scottish Rite. Clifford Coyle died on June 30, 1981.
