====== Felix Moses ====== Born in [[1827]], Moses was a Jewish peddler who resided at the [[hotels|Southern Hotel]] in [[Florence]]. His business was listed in the [[1883]] //Polk Directory// as "Felix Moses and Co., fur dealers." He once delivered a short but effective speech in Florence, mentioned in the //[[Boone County Recorder]]//, 27 Nov [[1879]], p. 3, col. 2. In March [[1886]], Moses' body was found in the [[Ohio River]]. Some believed it was suicide, though murder is also a possibility. He was buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
