==== Grim Reaper Calls H.F. Utz ====
**Had Been a Resident of Boone County His Entire Life- Services Held Tuesday**

Harvey F. Utz, widely known [[Boone County]] farmer, died Saturday at his home near [[Florence]], after an illness of several months.

Mr. Utz was born and reared in Boone County and was one of the county's most prominent men.  He was 68 years old.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minta Surface Utz; a daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Utz; two nieces, and a nephew.

Funeral services were conducted at the [[hopeful_lutheran_church|Hopeful Lutheran Church]] at 2:30 Tuesday, with Rev. T.C. Crume officiating.

Philip Taliaferro, Erlanger had charge of funeral arrangements.
