====== Helms Garage ====== Helms Garage Located on Tanner Street in [[Petersburg]], Helms Garage is one of several auto sales and repair facilities built in the [[boone county|county]] in the early 20th century, as ownership of [[transportation in boone county|automobiles]] became widespread. Constructed c.1919, the building has changed little over the years. It is a rectangular, one-story building with flat roof, faced with light brown brick.
