======"The History of Ten Churches" (1823)======
John Taylor, a pastor of the [[Bullittsburg Baptist Church]] wrote an autobiography called //The History of Ten Churches//  which included chapters on all of the [[churches]] of which he had been a member.  This work, which is an important source of pioneer religious history, includes a chapter on the Bullittsburg Baptist Church.  This is of especial significance since it was the only church in the area at a time when [[Boone County]] had not yet been divided from Campbell.
