Located on Bullittsville Road,the 430-acre Hollis Farm includes a complete collection of farm buildings of the early-to-mid-20th century, including a dairy barn, milkhouses, silos and corncrib.  

The main house, built in the same period, is a frame dormer front bungalow with Craftsman porch and central gabled dormer.  The frame smokehouse with extended front gable represents a type popular in the county in the 19th through early 20th centuries.  

The Hollis family raised dairy cows and, later, beef cattle.
