====== Isham Hamilton ======
Isham Hamilton was born in Buckingham Co., Virginia on 2 June [[1792]]. He became [[Boone County|Boone]] County's [[County Clerk]] in [[1835]] when his predecessor, [[Willis Graves]], died in office.

Hamilton died in [[Burlington]] on 21 May [[1873]], and is buried in [[the Old Burlington Cemetery]].
