====== J.G. Renaker Dies Wednesday ====== The following article appeared on the front page of the May 4th, 1939 edition of the //[[Boone County Recorder]]// **Was former cashier of Florence Deposit Bank- Had been resident of this County Entire Life** J.G. Renaker, 58, passed away Wednesday at his home in [[Florence]], after an extended illness. Mr. Renaker was a native of Harrison County, but had lived in [[Boone County]] most of his life. He was cashier of the [[Florence Deposit Bank]] for 28 years, retiring several years ago because of illness. He was well known throughout the county, and was loved and respected by everyone. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irene Renaker; two brothers, Lon Renaker, Cynthiana, and A.J. Renaker, Florence, and three sisters, Mrs. Robert R. Miller, Florence, Mrs. Kirk Ammerman, Cynthiana, and Mrs. Wilford Mitchell, Alexandria. A young brother, Paul Renaker, former Florence marshal was killed last year in an auto accident. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the [[Florence Methodist Church]], interment following St. Mary Cemetery.
