====== Joel Hamilton ======
Joel Hamilton was one of the two men who laid out the plat for the town of [[Hamilton|Landing]] when it was first established in [[1835]].  

He was also a town trustee for Landing.  The town was later renamed 'Hamilton' in his honor.
