======John Campbell Greenway, 1872-1926======

John Greenway was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and graduated from Yale University with a degree in engineering.  Rising to the upper echelons of the mining industry in Minnesota and Arizona, Greenway took a professional break to join the Rough Riders at the beginning of the Spanish-American War.  He met his wife, [[isabella_d._selmes_ferguson_greenway_king|Isabella]], through his friendship with her first husband, Robert H. M. Ferguson, another Rough Rider.  After their marriage in 1923, the couple moved to Ajo, Arizona, where John built a house for his wife.  They had one son, [[john_selmes_greenway|Jack]], before John died after a gall bladder operation.
