====== Kottmyer House (I) (BE 744) ====== The Kottmyer House Located on River Road, this [[historic homes|house]] is one of several in the [[towns|town]] of [[Constance]] associated with the locally prominent [[Kottmeyer family]]. The Kottmyer House is the [[Boone County|county's]] finest example of the Homestead House: a simple, two-story, front-gabled dwelling of rectangular footprint. The side wings are somewhat later additions, as is the front porch.
