====== McGlasson House (BE 782) ====== McGlasson House One of several properties along River Road associated with the prominent [[McGlasson family]], this house was built in the 1920s to replace an earlier dwelling on the site. The [[historic homes|house]] is noteworthy for its asymmetrical design, which features a large, off-center gabled dormer. The main entrance is contained in an inset, half-width porch at the east corner. The farm includes a large, diverse group of outbuildings, including a summer kitchen and a farm slaughterhouse. A wrought-iron fence surrounds the yard.
