====== Nelson Lloyd ======
Nelson Marvin Lloyd, the father of [[John Uri Lloyd]], was born in [[1821]] and married [[sophia_webster_lloyd|Sophia Webster]].  He moved his family to [[Boone County]], and taught school in [[Florence]].  His school closed in [[1859]], and in [[1860]] he bought out [[J.N. Early|J.N. Early's]] general store.((Loder diaries))  He is listed as a merchant living in [[Petersburg]] in the //1860 U.S. Federal Census//.

Nelson Lloyd died in [[1882]], and his wife Sophia in 1903.
