====== Prospect Farm, J.C. Jenkins House (BE 55) ====== Superbly sited on a lofty hilltop overlooking [[Petersburg]] and the [[Ohio River]] is the grand residence of [[Joseph C. Jenkins]], Boone County’s only Italian villa. Constructed in [[1860]], this home is an artful composition of Italianate, Gothic, Greek Revival and Moorish elements.

The house includes a three-stage tower in three different styles; a two-story, semi-octagonal facade bay; and delicate two-tier side porches.
