======Sarah Gibson Flandrau Cutcheon, 1866-1947======

Sally was the daughter of [[isabella_ramsay_dinsmore_flandrau|Isabella Dinsmore]] and Charles Flandrau.  She was born at the farm in Boone County and was named for Isabella’s close childhood friend, Sarah Gibson Humphreys.  Raised by her [[julia_dinsmore|Aunt Julia]], Sally attended Miss Porter’s school in Connecticut and in 1891 she married [[franklin_w._m._cutcheon|Frank Cutcheon]].  The childless couple had homes in Santa Barbara and Long Island and then inherited the Boone County farm when [[julia_dinsmore|Julia Dinsmore]] died in 1926.
