======Susan Bell Dinsmore, 1835-1851======

Susan was the youngest of [[james_dinsmore|James]] and [[martha_keturah_macomb_dinsmore|Martha Dinsmore's]] three daughters. Her early death at the age of fifteen was a great tragedy for the faily. On a boating excursion on Lake Erie, she and her cousin, Mary Ann Goodrich drowned when the boat sprang a leak. Already interested in the popular movement of Spiritualism, [[james_dinsmore|James Dinsmore]] became a committed practitioner after his daughter's death.
