Charles Thompson House, BE-943

Excerpt from the 2005 National Register Nomination for the South Main Street Historic District.

Built in the late 1920s or 1930s for Charles Thompson, a banker, this is one-and-a-half story brick dwelling with side-gabled roof and one-story rear lean-to. The influence of the Tudor Revival style can be seen in the tall, off-center facade gable, and steeply gabled vestibule with arched portal. This house's lot appears vacant on the 1927 map.
