Last fall Judge Riddell took his wife to San Antonio, Texas, hoping the change of climate would improve her health. On June 6, 1900, she was joined in the holy bonds of wedlock to N.E. Riddell, Rev. James A. Kirtley, an uncle of Mrs. Riddell, officiating. In 1887 she united with the Burlington Baptist Church, and was ever a valued member and earnest worker in the church.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters viz: Mrs. George Blythe, of Burlington, and Mrs. Pieper, of Amarillo, Texas.

The funeral will be held at her late home Thursday afternoon, April 2, at 2 o’clock. Rev F.E. Walker pastor of the Burlington Baptist Church, will preach the funeral sermon. Burial in Highland Cemetery.

The many friends of Judge Riddell tender their sincere sympathy in his great bereavement.
