According to local informants and deed information, <html><img alt=“Kirkpatrick House” src=“https://bcp.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/search/asset/33478/0” width=“350” align=“right” title=“Kirkpatrick House”></html> a local carpenter named Jess Kirkpatrick built this house for himself on Washington Street around 1925. A distinctive and well-preserved bungalow, this house features an asymmetrical facade with side-facing, jerkin-gable roof. The porch, placed off-center, has a clipped gable with casement windows. A small, jerkinheaded dormer provides visual balance.
