Sallee House, BE-135
Excerpt from the Burlington Historic District National Register Nomination
This is a 3-bay Federal-style residence (c. 1830) of brick construction, with a laterally-oriented gable roof. Its main entrace is offset from the south side of the facade, which is suggestive of a side-passage interior plan. Its fenestration is flat-topped with jack arched lintels and exterior operable shutters. It has interior brick chimneys that penetrate the roofline at both gable ends. A compatible handicapped access ramp is located on the north cable end.
