White Haven Academy

The White Haven Academy was founded in Union, Kentucky by W.A. White, a minister who served at Richwood Presbyterian Church. Some of the buildings stood for many years, though one burned down.

Local legends claimed that the place was haunted. It was said that the front door, however often it was closed, was always found to be open the next morning, though the place was uninhabited.
