Survey of Prison Bounds Burlington, Boone County, Kentucky by Moses Scott, County Surveyor 1801
Boone County Court Deed Book A-103-104 Boone County July the 20th 1801
In conformity to an Order of the Worshipfull (sic) County Court of Boone afsd. I have proceeded to lay off the prison bounds as follows,
“To Wit, Beginning about sixteen poles North North (sic) East of the Publick Square at a Beech tree running from thence. South forty poles to a Beech. thence West forth poles to a Beech. thence North forty poles to a Beech tree. thence East forty to the Beginning Containing ten acres.”
