Dr. Crisler House (BE 591)
<html><img alt=“Dr. Crisler House” src=“https://bcp.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/search/asset/27982/0” width=“250” align=“left” title=“Dr. Crisler House”></html> Located on South Orient Street in Burlington, the Dr. Crisler House is a well-preserved frame dwelling that exhibits a cross-gabled tin roof and an inset corner porch. Contained in the rear ell is a log pen, which faces Metts Lane. The house contains the best ensemble of domestic outbuildings in Burlington, a remarkable frame privy with lancet-archer windows.
The house was included in the Burlington National Register district in 1979.
