Roberts House (BE 246)

<html><img alt=“Roberts House” src=“https://bcp.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/search/asset/29666/0” width=“200” align=“right” title=“Roberts House”></html> This doublecell house appears to have been built for the Roberts family in the late 19th century. One story tall and four bays wide, it has twin front doors and interior gable-end chimneys. The pattern of piercing is repeated in the rear ell. A small gabled dormer and Craftsman porch likely date from the 1920s or 1930s.

The Roberts House lies in the bypassed village of Hume on Mud Lick Creek Road, near Verona
