Adam Finch House (BE 191)

bcplfusion.bcpl.org_repository_be0191.jpg Built in 1840, the Adam Finch House is among the oldest standing buildings in Florence. It is an urban side-passage house with Greek Revival details. The fluted door surround is said to have been salvaged from the old Southern Hotel. Windows retain their original 6/6 sash and shutters. The original gabled roof was rebuilt in hipped form in the late 19th century.

The house has been recently rehabilitated and is located on Banklick Street.
