Captian M. Collins House (BE 27)
An essentially intact frame house of about the 1870s,this typical I-house is oriented toward the Ohio River. It was probably built for Captain Marcus Collins, who owned the house in 1883. The house is located at the end of Aurora Ferry Road, just downriver from Petersburg. Boone County: a survey of historic sites in Kentucky 1979:19
