Prospect Farm, J.C. Jenkins House (BE 55)

Superbly sited on a lofty hilltop overlooking Petersburg and the Ohio River is the grand residence of Joseph C. Jenkins, Boone County’s only Italian villa. Constructed in 1860, this home is an artful composition of Italianate, Gothic, Greek Revival and Moorish elements.

The farm was added to the National Register in 1989.
