Historic Buildings
Boone County's building history dates back to the late 18th century. While the landscape has changed and many roads have disappeared, well over 1000 buildings erected between about 1800 and the mid-1900s remain interspersed among the subdivisions and commercial developments of what is one of the nation's fastest growing counties.
